Hi, The only group that is non-grounded that I am aware of is OMEN (Oregon Men Enjoying Naturism), which is primarily a gay group. Even during the winter they usually manage about three social events a month.
There is also a group of nudist volunteers (I assume mostly straight), who evidently help keep the Rooster Rick beach clean, but their name escapes me at the moment.
I just moved up here(from Los Angeles) in November of 2010, and have been looking for social nudist social groups that get together somewhat regularly too. I think the problem lays with the amount of work such an organization takes, and the lack of thanks and appreciation of the membership. Even though the laws are very permissible for nudism in the Portland area, I think it is the amount of work and the lack of appreciation of the work done that is the reason for such groups being so sparse here. I have worked in all volunteer groups before, and personally don't care to repeat the experience.

I too am looking for people here in Portland. I've been to Collins Beach and Rooster Rock several times but I'd really like to make some more like-minded friends. Are there any non-landed groups in the Portland area that meet up with any kind of regularity? I've always been pointed towards ORCOBA and I think another but it's virtually impossible to get any information it seems as to if they meet up and if there's any affiliation with a club.

I know about "Rooster Rock State Park" and there may be another place out on Sauvie Island. They're warm weather favorite places. I doubt you'll find anyone when it aint hot out. If I was in Portland we could get naked together. There's nakedness underthere somewhere?
